Bio Notes:	Sidney (or Sydney - sources vary) George Eustace Shipman was the son of Sidney Shipman, Stock Exchange clerk, and his wife Margaret Harpur George. He studied at Aberdeen School of Art and was elected ARIBA in 1951. He married Evelyn Heather Whitson on 14 July 1951 at Menstrie Parish Church. She was also an architect. She studied at Edinburgh College of Art and was elected ARIBA in 1950 [12299]. He set up his own practice as Shipman & Partners by 1960. His wife was also in the practice. He does not have an entry in the 1979 directory.
