Bio Notes: The William Cowie Partnership developed out of the practice William G Cowie Architects of Aberdeen. This was formed after the closure of Datum Design in which the partners were William G Cowie and Matthew W Merchant. Cowie practised as sole partner thereafter as William G Cowie Architects until Harry McNab was taken into partnership in 1986 and the name of the practice became the William Cowie Partnership.
