Notes: Patrick Abercrombie was first invited to visit Hull in February 1942. By December 1942, Lutyens and Abercrombie had 'accepted the invitation of Hull Corporation ... to advise on the replanning of the city.' The final proposals were published in 1945 as 'A plan for the City and County of Kingston upon Hull.'

Derek Plumstead, who has worked on the Plymouth plan with Abercrombie, became involved after the death of Lutyens in 1944.
