Notes: Two 31-storey tower blocks with continuous balconies on each floor. Each block has 174 flats and is 285ft in height. Believed to be Europe's tallest reinforced concrete residential blocks at the time of construction. Cost £1.25-1.3m. Original plans in 1962 were for 27-storey towers, but this was subsequently increased to 31 storeys.
