There are separate entrances for boys and girls at each end of the hall. Nine classrooms are provided for thirty pupilseach. On the upper floor there are a science room, art room, cookery and laundry room and gymnasium, while a portion of the old school has been converted into a workroom for 20 boys. The principal facade is in a free treatment of Renaissance, executed in red sandstone, while the other elevations are of brick and roughcast with stone dressings.
