Notes: The above are being erected in the Bridgeton district of Glasgow. The scheme comprises a large and a small hall, artists’ retiring rooms, buffet and service accommodation and is arranged to be used en suite or as two separate units. A cinema is being installed in the large hall. The construction is brick walling faced with Ruabon silver-grey, steel frame gallery and roof construction, and reinforced concrete floors, stairs and flat roofs. Blaxter stone is used for external dressings and the pitched roofs are covered with Westmorland slates. [10 September 1926 p406]
