PARISH CHURCH HALL, ELGIN - A new parish church hall has just been erected at Elgin. The hall is situated on the north side of Greyfriars Street. The main hall is 71 feet by 39 feet and 25 feet high and is provided with a gallery. It will accommodate 720 persons. To the north of the hall is a smaller hall, 32 feet by 22 feet, and the west wing of the building consists of a third hall. In the basement is the heating apparatus. The building has been designed by Messrs A & W Reid and Wittet, architects, Elgin. [Builder 26 June 1897 p575]
