Notes: The Hawick Patriotic Memorial in Wilton Lodge Public Park, which has just been erected, stands 22 feet high and is executed in Northumberland freestone from a design prepared by Messrs J N Scott and A Lorne Campbell, architects, Edinburgh in collaboration with Mr Rhind ARSA, sculptor, Edinburgh. Strang gives W Birnie Rhind as the sculptor, whilst Cruft et al give his brother Thomas Duncan Rhind.
