Notes: A new church to be dedicated to St. Martin is to be built in Edinburgh from plans by Mr. Robertson, of Inverness, at a cost of £5,000. [Building News 25 February 1898 p293]

When the chancel (a later addition) began to separate from the main body of the church, the congregation was forced to move to the building vacated by the Gorgie Baptist Church on the corner of Dalry Road and Murieston Crescent (see separate entry) in 1982, following which this building was demolished.
