Item 1 of 1Rosyth Garden City developmentThe Scottish National Housing Company Limited, presented plans at the Dunfermline Dean of Guild Court last week for the erection of another 1,000 dwelling-houses at Rosyth. The town clerk (Mr. John L. Jack) pointed out that the petition represented an expenditure of £400,000, and was probably the largest which had ever been presented to a Dean of Guild Court in Scotland. Subject to certain alterations suggested by the burgh engineer being given effect to, the court passed the plans, together with plans for the formation of fifteen streets.[Building News 18 April 1917 Page 351}
