Notes: The council of the Scottish National Exhibition, to be held in Edinburgh in 1908, have received the report of their assessor, Mr J J Burnet. ARSA, FRIBA, of Glasgow, on the competitive plans for the exhibition buildings, which is as follows:
1. John A. Campbell. FRIBA. 124 St Vincent Street, Glasgow.
2. Walker and Ramsay. 123. Wellington Street, Glasgow.
3. T Duncan Rhind, ARIBA., 28, Rutland Street, Edinburgh

Campbell's award of first premium was subsequently overturned as Burnet and Campbell had been partners. Although placed second, Walker and Ramsay eventually secured the commission
