The Aberdeen Picture Palaces Limited are proposing to reconstruct the Electric Theatre to provide accommodation for 2,000 people at an estimated cost of £60,000 [Builder 11 March 1927]

The Electric Theatre 431 Union-street is too be rebuilt. The new hall will seat over 2,000 and it is estimated that the reconstruction and re-equipment will cost from £60,000 to £70,000. The Aberdeen Picture Palaces Limited, 3 King-street are the owners

It is learnt that plans have been passed to enlarge the Electric Theatre, Union-street, Aberdeen to seat 2,300. The proprietors are Aberdeen Picture Palaces Limited, 2 West Craibstone-street, Aberdeen [Builder 18 December 1931, p1021]
