Notes: NEW OFFICES FOR PARISH COUNCIL, ABERDEEN. The foundation stone of these new offices was laid on the 25th ult. Mr A Marshall Mackenzie ARSA, Aberdeen, is the architect of the new building which will be Italian Renaissance style, four stories high and have a frontage to three streets, Union Street East Lindsay Street and Diamond Street. It will be of granite and will adjoin the new offices now being erected for the Aberdeen School Board. The structure will cost about £8,000. [Builder 4 September 1897 p189]
