Notes: Restoration of mediaeval church and rebuilding of tower. According to the report of 1926, the original Norman tower fell in 1604. Davidson’s design for the rebuilding was in the local Perpendicular style, his drawing being exhibited at the Royal Glasgow Institution exhibition of 1926.
