Notes: The foundation stone of a new Episcopal Church was laid at Kelso on Monday. The church, which is to cost 3,500, consists in plan of nave, north and south aisles, and chancel, with organ chamber on north side, and vestry. The nave and aisles are seated for a congregation of about 350, and the chancel is stalled for priests and choir. The style adopted is Early Geometric Gothic. Mr R Anderson, of Edinburgh, is the architect. [Building News 29 May 1868 p367]
