We publish to-day the selected design for the Hutchesontown District Library, Glasgow, by James R Rhind, Inverness. The building is to cost £6,000. It will be remembered that Dr Andrew Carnegie gave to Glasgow £100,000 to build libraries, and this is the seventh of the series out of nine which Mr. Rhind has won in open competition. The referee was Mr. H. K. Bromhead, F.R.I.B.A., of Glasgow. [Building News 12 August 1904 p217]
