Notes: A handsome new church for the Free Church congregation, Dingwall (N.B.), is now all but completed. The building, which was designed by Mr. John Rhind, Inverness, is in the Gothic style. The principal doorway has a deeply moulded arch supported on clustered pilarets. The window heads are ornamented with geometrical tracery, and the windows which light the galleries rise above the eaves and are finished with gablets. On the north-east corner is a spire, 115ft. in height, finished with an octagonal Gothic pointed dome, which is crocketed in the angles. The church is to cost between £4.000 and £5000.
