Bio Notes: Peter Geoffrey James studied for the diploma in architecture in Nottingham and was elected ARIBA in 1949. After qualification he seems to have had a post in the Architects Section of the Estates Department in Nottingham. By 1965 he had moved to the City Architect's Department in Leeds. By 1970 he was Deputy City Architect in the City Architect's Office in Edinburgh.

He had probably retired by 1979 as he is listed as living in Gullane.
