Bio Notes: William Kerr studied for the diploma in architecture at Glasgow School of Art. he was elected ARIBA in 1959 and ARIAS in 1964. He was living in Stevenston, Ayr at this time. He may have been related to the William Kerr of Ayr who died in 1905.

He probably worked in the Ayr County Architect's office. In 1979 he is listed as working Ayr office of the Department of Architecture and Related Services, Strathclyde Regional Council.
