| Bio Notes: | George Morrison was born in Macduff about 1843, the son of William Morrison, stone mason and his wife Ann. George Morrison trained as a stone mason preseumably with his father but by 1891 he was the harbour master in Macduff. He practised as an architect in Macduff in the 19th and early 20th centuries. In 1901 he was also the Inspector of Works there. Morrison died on 26 December 1927 aged 85 at his home, Woodbine Cottage. |
