Bio Notes:	Gordon Grant was born about 1889 in Stirling, the son of Gordon Grant, Superintendent of Police. He was edcaued at Stirling High School and articled to Ebenezer Simpson in Stirling. he worked as a factor in Oban and Drymen before becoming assistant factor to the Countess of Cromartie's estates at Kildary, Ross-shire. In 1929 he moved to Sir Charles Cayzer's estate at Kinpurnie, Newtyle as factor.
