Bio Notes: William Gilchrist Highet studied for the diploma in architecture at Glasgow School of Art and was elected ARIBA in 1961. He remained in Glasgow after qualification. However by 1979 he had moved to Strathpeffer and was working in the Consarc Partnership. By 1984 he had opened business on his own account as W G Highet with an office in Muir of Ord. He is not listed in the RIBA directory for 1994 and had perhaps retired by then.
