Bio Notes: James Scott Wood studied for the degree of BArch at Strathclyde and for the diplomas in architecture and town planning at Glasgow School of Art. He was elected ARIBA in 1966. He may have spent some time working for Cumbernauld New Town Development Corporation as his address is given as being in Cumbernauld about 1965. He later moved to Ayr. He returned to live and presumably work in Cumbernauld in the later 1970s. He had retired and moved to Inverness-shire by 1994.
