He worked for Zetland County Architects Department in the early 1960s and completed the design of the Museum and Library after George Barr left in 1964. He was elected ARIBA in 1968.
Bradbury and his wife Elizabeth, also an architect, emigrated to Canada. They practised in New Brunswick initially as Ray Bradbury & Elizabeth Bradbury, building schools and senior housing before retiring to West Vancouver where RAy Bradbury enjoys painting.
