| Bio Notes: | Balfour Balsillie worked in the early 19th century. It is unclear who this was. Balfour Balsille is recorded as Burgh Surveyor of Irvine in the census of 1881. At this time he is aged 70. But this cannot be either the person who made alterations to Auchencruive in 1806 or 1906 if this is an error in 'Buildings of Scotland'. |
