Bio Notes: John Alexander Terrace was born on 27 November 1928, the son of David Terrace, storeman, and his wife Jane Robson. He was elected a student member of the RIBA in 1951. He was based in Glasgow about this time. He was still a student at the same address in 1960. He was elected ARIBA and ARIAS in 1964. In 1979 he is recorded as working in the City Architect's Department in Glasgow. He is not listed in the Directory of 1984.

Terrace died in Cambuslang on 27 November 2009, aged 80, survived by his wife Patricia Kellock, a retired school teacher.
