Basic Biographical Details Name: | Anthony William Cobban | Designation: | | Born: | 24 October 1937 | Died: | October 2008 | Bio Notes: | Anthony William Cobban was born on 24 October 1937, the son of Anthony Cobban, Lance Corporal in the Gordon Highlanders whose was usually stationed in Redford Barracks, and his wife Mat ([is this correct?] Jemima Cobban. He studied for the diploma in architecture at the School of Architecture in Aberdeen and for the diploma in town planning at the University of Strathclyde. He was elected ARIBA in 1964. In the early 1970s his address was in East Kilbride and he may have worked for the Development Corporation. He was a founding partner of Cobban & Lironi. This practice continued into the 1980s. However by 1994 Cobban had moved to London and was practising as Cobban & Lang.
Cobban died in October 2008 in Henley -on-Thames.
