Bio Notes: Robert Ramsay was born on 19 August 1928. He was elected a student member of the RIBA in 1952. He was living in Aberdeen about this time where he studied for the diploma in architecture. He was elected ARIBA in 1954. He had moved to Glasgow by 1957. In the early 1960s he worked in the practice of James Taylor in Glasgow. In 1979 he was an employee of Conder (Scotland) Ltd in Cumbernauld. By 1986 he was practising on his own from home as R Ramsay in Milngavie. He was still practising as such in 1996.

He died before 2013.
