Bio Notes: Alastair Clunie Scott was the son of Francis Clunie Scott who was chief architect of East Kilbride Development Corporation. He studied at the School of Architecture in Glasgow and was elected ARIBA in 1972. He was brought into Roland Wedgwood’s practice in 1968 to act as job architect on the Scottish Agricultural Industries head office building. He remained with Wedgwood until 1975 when he left to set up practice with Fred Walker with whom he had worked alongside in the practice as Walker & Scott Architects. The sheltered housing project at St Albans Road, Edinburgh was transferred from Wedgwood to Walker & Scott.

From 1986 to 2005 Scott worked freelance with Roland Wedgwood Associates Wedgwood on various projects (one being the developments at St Raphael Nursing Home).

He retired in 2005.
