Bio Notes: Alan Duncan McKillop was born in 1920 or 1921, the son of John Wilson McKillop, county clerk, and his wife Mabel McKay. He was elected a student member of the RIBA in 1949. He studied architecture at Edinburgh College of Art and was elected ARIBA in 1951. He was elected FRIAS in 1957. In about 1959 he was a partner in McKillop & Lawrie in Inverness.

He died on 6 October 1963 survived by his wife, Barbara Wroot.
