Bio Notes: Norman Gibb Arthur studied at the School of Architecture in Aberdeen and was awarded the diploma with distinction in 1968. He was registered by ARC in 1970; elected ARIBA in 1970; ARIAS in 1974 and SIA in 1987. He took on posts with the City Architect's Department (1968-70) Spence Glover & Ferguson (1970-81) and worked on the Scottish Widows building in Dalkeith Road, Edinburgh in the early 1970s. He then worked for James Ferrie and Partners, Singapore (1983-1992); RMJM Thailand (1992-2001, and Tandem Architects (2002-2008).
