Bio Notes: Kenneth William Lochrie was born in Dundee on 17 August 1942, the son of Charles Lochrie, engineering manager and his wife Freida Gray whose home was in Broughty Ferry. He studied architecture at Dundee College of Art. He was elected ARIBA in 1966 and worked for a brief spell with Dundee Corporation. He joined Baxter Clark & Paul in 1967. He initially work in the Glasgow office and was involved with school work. He was appointed Associate in 1970, taking charge of the Edinburgh office in 1972. He was appointed Senior Associate in 1975 and partner in the early 1980s.
