Bio Notes: Alistair Graham Allan studied architecture at the College of Art in Dundee. He was elected ARIBA in 1968. After qualification he worked in the Glasgow office of Baxter Clark & Paul. He was mainly involved with hospital work. After being promoted to Associate he was put in charge of the Inverness office. In 1972 he was invited to become a partner.

Allan was repsonsible for a considerable amount of housing in the Ross & Cromarty area and supervised several projects for the SSHA. He played a major role in the Caithness Central Hospital project.
