Alasdair has been with Wittets since 1982 and has been a Director since 1985. His previous experience includes working as an Architectural Assistant in the Town & Country Planning Section of Borders Regional Council and as a Lobster Fisherman on Skye. Alasdair is accredited under the RIAS Conservation Accreditation Scheme and takes the lead on the conservation projects within the company. He has gained experience on virtually every type of building found in the Highlands. Alasdair is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, a fellow of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland, a member of the Association for Project Management and a fellow of the Institute of Contemporary Scotland. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Architecture (Hons) (1974) and a Diploma in Urban Design (1976) from Edinburgh College of Art/Heriot Watt University.
