Basic Biographical Details Name: | George Kerr Stewart | Designation: | | Born: | 1 May 1921 | Died: | 25 November 1982 | Bio Notes: | George Kerr Stewart, who should not be confused with George Smith Stewart who worked in Fraserburgh, was born on 1 May 1921, the son of Charles Stewart, marine engineer and his wife Margaret Thomson Alexander. He studied at Dundee College of Art and was admitted ARIBA in 1954. In the mid-1950s he was deputy burgh surveyor of Perth, after local government reorganisation becoming Depute Director of Technical Services, Perth & Kinross District Council.
He died of cardiogenic shock on 25 November 1982 at Perth Royal Infirmary.
