Bio Notes: Laurence Williams was born on 6 December 1908. He was articled to Owen Parsons of Birmingham for four years in about 1925 while studing part-time at Birmingham Technical School and the School of Architecture. From 1930 he was junior assistant with Messrs Wood & Kendrick, later being promoted to chief assistant. He moved during the 1930s to the office of Edwin F Reynolds. From 1933 he also conducted a part-time private practice at Carnock, Staffordshire. In 1940 he was appointed chief architect to the Daimler Company.

William died on 5 December 1983.
