| Bio Notes: | A V Sutherland Graeme was probably the son of Alexnader Malcolm Sutherland Graeme. He was born in 1888. He joined the LCC in 1912 and remained with it for 41 years. He was mainly employed on the work theatre licensing and regulation and the provision of fire escapes from all types of building. He became an expert in safety measures in buildings. The Council came to be recognised as a pioneer in the formulation of constructional safeguards during his period with the LCC. He retired in 1953. |
