Basic Biographical Details Name: | Thomas Wilson Gale | Designation: | | Born: | 21 August 1912 | Died: | 2006 | Bio Notes: | Thomas Wilson Gale was born in 1912. He studied at Regent Street Polytechnic for six years and then had eighteen months practical experience of aerodrome contruction. He then worked as an assistant with E G W Souster in his office in Piccadilly, London. He then moved to a post with HM Office of Works followed by a period acting as Clerk of Works with Scotland Yard's Surveyors Department. ASt the time of his application for membership of the RIBA in 1957, proposed by Arthur A Gale and E Souster, he was working for the Air Ministry in London. He moved to Edinburgh sometime before 1972 to work for the SSHA where he was still working in 1975.
Gale died in Northumberland in 2006, his death being registered in June of that year.
