Basic Biographical Details Name: | George Milne Watt | Designation: | | Born: | 15 December 1911 | Died: | | Bio Notes: | George Milne Watt was born on 15 December 1911 and studied at the School of Architecture, Robert Gordon's College, Aberdeen from 1930 to 1933, obtaining his diploma in the latter yar. He worked as assistant to John Alexander Ogg Allan under the auspices of the Education Committee from 1934 to 1935, then moved to London to take up a post with E G W Souster, and in 1936 moved again to join the staff of W H Robinson, Kent County Architect. He was admitted ARIBA on 11 December 1945, his proposers being Souster, Allan and F Walker. His nomination papers give a home address in Winsley, Wiltshire, and state that he had latterly been working in Wiltshire County Architect's Department in Trowbridge.
