Basic Biographical Details Name: | John ('Iain') Anderson Dickson | Designation: | | Born: | | Died: | | Bio Notes: | John ('Iain') Anderson Dickson studied at the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture and Robert Gordon's Technical College obtaining the degree of BSc(Arch)and the diploma in architecture. He subsequently worked with Crerar & Partners in Inverness and had a short spell with the Department of Housing & Construction in the Northern Territory, Australia. He returned to Scotland and was taken into partnership with George Watt & Stewart in Aberdeen by 1979.
He was elected President of the RIAS in 1999. He has been Convener of the RIAS Practice Board and Vice President of the Aberdeen Society of Architects. |
