Bio Notes: William Morgan was born on 5 November 1920, the son of Robert Morgan, stonemason, and his wife Mary Clark Brown. He was living in Kirkcaldy around the time he was admitted a student member of the RIBA in 1949. He studied for the diploma in architecture at Edinburgh College of Art. He was elected ARIBA in 1950. He moved to Glenrothes by 1965 where he worked for the Development Corporation and remained there. He is no longer listed in 1987.

Morgan died at Glenrothes Hospital, Glenrothes on 31 October 2001, survived by his wife Henrietta Dick Speedie and at least one daughter.
