Bio Notes: Nothing is yet known of Norman Reid other than one job in the mid-1960s. He can probably be identified with Norman Hunter Reid who was born on 4 May 1928, the son of William Robertson Reid, company area manager, and his wife Agnes Forrest Hunter Baillie. He was a student member of the RIBA from 1953 and studied for the diploma in architecture at Edinburgh College of Art and graduated in 1954. He was elected ARIBA in 1955. He was a contemporary of Eric Davidson and like Davidson worked in the office of Leslie Graham (Thomson) Macdougall. He later worked for the Health Service - by at least 1979, when his address is given as with the Buildings Division in Drumsheugh Gardens.

Reid died on 3 November 1988 at the Fairlmile Nursing Home, Edinburgh. He was survived by his wife Margaret Archer and his daughter Morag.
