Bio Notes: William Pritchard was born on 27 October 1926, the son of William Pritchard, electro-plater, and his wife Elsie Valentine Stott. He was elected a student member of the RIBA in 1951. He was living in Aberdeen around this time and studied at the School of Architecture there. He was elected ARIBA in 1954 and ARIAS in 1964.

He worked for the Property Services Agency in the later 1970s. He is no longer listed in the 1986 RIBA directory.

Pritchard died on 17 December 2009 at Pentland Hill Nursing Home, 23-27 Gylemuir Road, Edinburgh. His wife, Georgina Lochiel Shearer Crighton had predeceased him but he was survived by a married daughter.
