Bio Notes: John Edward Annesley Brownrigg was born on 4 May 1911 and studied at teh Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL for five years from October 1929, working temporarily in the office of H S Goodhart-Rendel in late 1929, in the Architect's Department of the London County Council from April to September 1934, and as assistant to the director of Fox British Pictures from September to November of the latter year. He was admitted ARIBA on 10 February 1936, proposed by Goodhart-Rendel and two others (L R Hiscock and Muller P Luss?).

By the early 1960s he was a partner in the firm of Scott Brownrigg & Turner, which had offices in Guildford and Glasgow.

He died in July 2002 in Surrey.
