Bio Notes: Easton Alexander Cummings was born on 15 June 1920, the son of Ralph Cummings, grocer's assistant, and his wife Jean Watson. He was elected ARIBA in 1951 and ARIAS in 1953. He was a partner with Frank Burnet, Bell & Partners by 1965. He moved to the practice of Wright Kirkwood & Partners before 1970. He remained with the practice until the 1980s and was sole partner in 1981.

He died on 13 December 1987 at Aberdeen Railway Station. He was married twice, firstly to Audrey Joan Sparkes and second to Georgina Agnes French or Murray.
