Bio Notes: Thomas Griffon Smith Jamieson was born Thomas Smith Jamieson on 2 December 1937, the son of James Evans Jamieson, law clerk, and his wife Anne Hollywood Smith. He studied for the diploma in architecture at Edinburgh College of Art and was elected ARIBA and ARIAS in 1962. He was a partner with Sir Frank Mears & Partners from 1965. He is not listed in directories after about 1970 and may have simply been a member of the RIAS.

He died on 23 February 2004 aged 66 at the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh, survived by his wife Elizabeth McLaughlin and his son.
