Bio Notes: Kenneth Lyle Stewart Murdoch was elected a student member of the RIBA in 1953. He studied architecture at Dundee College of Art. He was elected ARIBA in 1954. In 1971 he had moved to Perth and was working in a branch office of Messrs Russell Diplock Associates which was based in Oxfordshire and run by Philip Russell Diplock. Murdoch appears to have opened his own practice in the 1980s as McLaren Murdoch & Hamilton, his partners being John Scott McLaren and Douglas Victor Hamilton . Murdoch is no longer listed in the Directory of 1996.
