Bio Notes: James Kimm was born on 8 February 1918, the son of John Kimm, inspector of police, and his wife Jeannie Scott Fraser. He was elected ARIBA in*****. He was Deputy County Architect with Roxburgh County Council in Newtown St Boswell by the 1950s and from 1957 County Architect for Moray and Nairn. He was elected FRIAS in 1962.

Kimm died aged 55 on 11 July 1973 at his home in Edinburgh. He was survived by his wife Moira Donald Guinea.
