Bio Notes: George Arthur Falconer was born on 26 March 1917, the son of Alexander Falconer, public works contractor, and his wife Jessie Ann McHattie. He was admitted ARIBA in 1949. His address was 9 Culbard Street, Elgin. After a brief period in Skye in the early 1950s he moved back to Inverness and remained there until the late 1970s. He was elected ARIAS in 1960. He is very probably the same as the 'G Falconer' who worked for Highland Regional Council in the 1980s. He had retired by 1987.

He died at his daughter's home in Hamilton on 7 August 2004. His wife Annemarie Sesterhenn had predeceased him. His usual address was in Inverness.
