He studied at the School of Architecture in Dundee and was admitted ARIBA in 1950. His home address was in Inverness at that date. He moved to Fife before 1964 and had a post in the Architect's Department of Fife County Council. He remained with the Department until after 1979. He is not listed in the Directory of 1987.
He died on 14 August 2004 at his home in Cupar.
